Nude thieves strike DeLand golf course

It has been three days since a group of teenagers stole a flag pole from the DeLand Country Club, but they're probably still talking about it.
That's because although the theft was petty, the style was brazen.
Three teenagers in a black Ford Expedition stopped near the course on Country Club Road about 7:20 a.m., jumped a fence and stole a flag pole.
Did we mention all three were nude?
DeLand police have closed the case. Officials at the country club didn't want an investigation but did ask that a report be taken to document the theft. And, perhaps, to prove they aren't making it up when they tell the story.
